It is with great pride that I write to you with news of the appointment of my daughter Kylie Liew as a fellow Director of Giles & Liew Chartered Accountants.
I founded Giles & Liew back in 1997 out of a desire to balance a career with family life, however, I did not know then that the line between the two would become so intertwined. Over the years I have been privileged to guide many clients through their own business and personal journeys, many of which have been family owned and operated. To experience the trials and tribulations first-hand that this unique relationship fosters has been an incredible experience for me as both a business owner and mother.
Digital disruption of the Accounting industry presents a unique opportunity to redefine the role of the Business Advisor. Kylie is committed to challenging the stereotype and exploring innovative ways to achieve growth and create success. She has been the driving force behind much of the change both internally and externally we as a firm have experienced over the past few years, from developing and implementing brand repositioning strategies to streamlining business processes and systems.
Kylie joined Giles & Liew five years ago after working in Private Business and Financial Services Audit. Kylie’s combined history of providing Business Advisory and Accounting services to clients, together with experience in Internal Change Management and Business Development means she understands the complexities of SME ownership.
I am excited about what the future of Giles & Liew holds and I look forward to continuing to lead the business with Kylie through the next stage of growth.
Kind regards,
Dawn Liew
