As we come to the close of what has been a huge year for Giles & Liew in 2019, I’d like to take the opportunity to introduce another exciting addition to our leadership team.  It is my great pleasure to announce the appointment of Lorren Kilgour as a Director of Giles & Liew Chartered Accountants, joining Kylie and I as fellow Directors.

Today’s business owners are under pressure to create efficiencies and streamline their business processes in order to keep up with rapidly changing consumer demands and new technology.  Lorren’s appointment shows our commitment to supporting our clients through their business transformation journeys as the business landscape continues to change.  With over 15 years of experience in the accounting software industry and a background in business process improvement and change management, Lorren is an expert in helping businesses to streamline their processes and consolidate their systems.  Through her previous roles with MYOB, Lorren was also a part of the transformation journey Giles & Liew has undergone over the last few years.

In the age of digital disruption business owners are currently navigating, Lorren believes it is an exciting time to be in business as technology presents unique opportunities to scale rapidly and challenge what has been done before.  With new technology continuously emerging, business owners have an opportunity to transform how they tackle both accounting and business tasks.  Lorren helps business owners to adapt quickly to advancements in technology, identifying the technology they need to adopt to create efficiencies and stay competitive and assists clients in implementing such into their businesses.  Lorren is passionate about educating clients on how to best use their systems and make sure they have the right processes and technology in place to achieve their business goals.

Looking ahead to 2020, I am excited about what the future of Giles & Liew holds.  Kylie and I have been working hard to get our new Pine Harbour branch ready to launch in the new year and we can’t wait to let you in on what we have been working on.  I look forward to continuing to lead the business with Kylie and Lorren through the next stage of business growth.
